Student health team help students

Student health care is about creating the conditions for good health and learning. Students who attend a municipal school receive help from the school’s student health team if they have problems. This team includes school heads, school nurses, social workers or school psychologists, study and vocational guidance officers and specialist educationalists. There is also access to school doctors and school psychiatrists. The aim of the City of Stockholm’s quality programme for student health work and specialist educationalist operations is to ensure that all students receive an equal education and the support they need to achieve their goals. The City’s schools work together with social services, the county council and the police in Stockholm.
